New Feature in WebOrbiton: Email Downtime Alerts Are Here

We’re excited to announce a long-awaited feature in WebOrbiton automated email notifications for website outages and status changes!

From now on, WebOrbiton can automatically notify you whenever any monitored website goes down, enters maintenance, or comes back online again.

Whether you manage a single site or a large portfolio, this feature lets you react faster and avoid unpleasant surprises.

What can WebOrbiton alert you about?

You can choose which events should trigger a notification:

• website goes DOWN,
• website goes UP again,
• website enters MAINTENANCE.

You decide what matters to you and how many alerts per hour should be sent.

How to enable alerts?

To activate the new alert system simply open alert.php. Inside the file you will find configuration options such as:

• enable/disable alerts

• recipient email address

• sender address

• number of alerts per hour

• alert history length

Just edit the values to match your needs and you’re ready to go.
